In February of 1994, a group of concerned parents and friends met to establish a community Christian School. After much prayer and several meetings, a board of directors was selected. The incorporation of the new school soon followed and on the afternoon of June 2, 1994, Lee Christian School was registered with the State of North Carolina as a school of religious charter.

The charter and statement of faith are explicit concerning the mission and purpose of the school. As a mission, it must maintain a strong Christian witness presenting Christ and Biblical truth as necessary for every generation. The purpose is to meet the needs of students with a thriving and creative educational program.

The Lee Christian School staff and faculty are a team with an established reputation for caring leadership in the lives of young people. Combining a rich variety of educational experience and Christian testimony, the school seeks to continue serving the community and its families.
