Welcome to Lee Christian School
Since the school’s conception in 1994, LCS has strived to achieve academic excellence while increasing and deepening spiritual growth. We adhere to scripture as the foundation of our teaching, leadership, and supervision.
As a school body, we follow the teaching of 1 Cor. 12:25-26 and foster a team spirit of unity and cooperation. The purpose of a Biblical education is to assist in the mature growth in godliness of character and actions.
Matthew 5:16 says that we as Christians are to be the light in a dark world; therefore, our actions are to shine so that God is glorified. Christian education teaches that our purpose is to honor and glorify God in all that we do. Not so that we look good; but so that God gains the glory and honor in everything we do.
Vision Statement
Mission Statement
Through academic excellence, a Christ-centered education, and a student focused environment, LCS stands as a beacon, preparing students to launch into life with character and skills to serve God and community.
A community Christian school training leaders and learners to be Christ-centered and service focused. LCS seeks to be distinctively different in academics, fine arts, and athletics instilling Biblical principles in students’ lives.
Philosophy of Education
Based upon God’s word, the Bible, as the basis for all truth. Education begins with an understanding that man was made in God’s image, different from all other creations, with the unique capacity to know and respond to God personally and voluntarily.
However, when man chose to sin, man broke the perfect relationship with God. Restoration of this relationship between God and man can only come by being born again through receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of his life; therefore, enabled to do God’s will, the ultimate purpose of his life.
The entire process of Christian education is seen as a means to bring the student into a relationship with God where the whole student is developed: spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. Christian education appreciates the individual with his own unique abilities and personality while teaching him how to live and work with others as modeled by Christ.
God commands that children be taught to love God and to love others. At the parent’s request, the Christian school, along with the church, becomes a partner in providing this Christian education.
